ME too, I was just now thinking how that damn thing is coming on every time I click to a different page, much more often than it did last week. I finally turned my sound off but it still pisses me off. What if I wanted to have music running in the background which I frequently do...would I be stuck?
I have stated before that the content doesn't offend me, the whole jet fuel endangered species thing. It was stupid and ineffective advertising in my opinion but I choose not to take it seriously. What I am mad about is that however this is embedded in the yahoo pages, it gets around my popup blockers. I should not have to listen to this crap and I have software that is supposed to protect me from stuff like this. But somehow Gap paid yahoo to let them torment us and there is nothing I can do about it, except leave Yahoo or turn down my sound.
I also cringe at the idea that this is the new wave of internet advertising. I don't want to listen to every line of propaganda from every company that has decided this is a good way to reach and teach and persuade. Come election, I swear I will put down my computer altogether. The internet is big enough that I should be able to avoid this if I want to, with plenty of places to play without being barraged by ads, and plenty of places for whoever to advertise whatever without infringing on others.

Switch to Yahoo Canada, there is a link at the bottom of the page and it only takes a second and walla there gone.

Yep. I turned the sound down on my speakers. Yahoo needs to do something about that. Pretty soon everybody is going to hate the GAP. I already do.

I literally didnt even know it was there until I started reading all of yalls questions. I keep my speakers off and had no idea the thing was there
