I am very into World War II and I am going to move to Houston and I want to a unit. 82nd Airborne, 101st Airborne, or some German unit is what i want to join. If anybody has any info tell me. Thanks.

as a non-participant, I am astonished that reineacters for WWII even exist. The closest is the so called Confederate Air Force of people who own WWII fighters that they fly.
All the reinactors I have heard of living in Texas match the ones that come up with an internet search for 'Texas Reinacters' which are Civil War, Texas Rangers, Buffalo Soldiers, and Frontier Indian Wars.
I would think the WWII is a lot too close to Korean War, Vietnam War, and the killing in Iraq for anyone to want to reinact. Paint ball warfare comes closest, but that has little to do with reinacting, which is reproducing the discipline, living conditions, and occasional battle scenes with old guns.

Well, in wandering on the internet, I came across guys building 1:6 tanks with paintball guns inside and doing battles with their own scenario (Penn vs Virginia) as well as Russians vs Germans. More like war games than reinactors.
