Of dear! I didn't mean to upset anyone. I have only one Grandchild and although she doesn't live that far away, I don't see her very much, because I have to work - on the Computer.

I am certainly not. I had one granddaughter all day last Wednesday and two other grandchildren all day on Thursday and was back again with the two yesterday at their house. This is something I do when they are not around.

No, most of my grandchildren live in other states and the computer is my way of keeping in touch with them. I do have a 15yr. old granddaughter who spends most weedends with me. During the week we talk on the phone a lot and if I am not at home when she calls she leaves me funny messages! She does not have the internet at home so when she is here she is the one spending too much time on the internet!

I will have you know, I have both my grandchildren come stay most weekends, we have nothing but quality time and some more quality time, and then some more!

I only get on line, once they are tucked up safe and warm in bed.......................

However, I do have another two grandchildren who live in OHIO, USA, (I live in England) And I am hoping and planning that once they are old enough to talk, we shall have hours of fun and chat on line, with the web cam etc., thank heavens for the computer I say !

Too bad Sara doesn't realize some of us are VERY computer knowledgeable... not all are computer illiterate in our generation...

I think I probably spend too much time on the internet, but I have no grandchildren to spend time with. My sons decided to not have children. Both of them are computer techs.

My grandchildren all live too far away. Two are in South Africa and one lives in Oxford. I wish I could afford to travel to see them but I can't so make do with telephone calls.

I have three grandchildren and I have just had them for four days so mum can get ready for Christmas;
I love them to bits and can't get enough of them.
As for the computer they have been showing me their bebo
sites and how to download music, so we have been on the computer together.
Took them home to mum this afternoon and missing them like hell., Filling in a quiet hour on here.

I'm raising a granddaughter and when I get a chance to be on the computer, it is a real pleasure for me for about an hour and then I am off to something else! I can't stay long as I am not sedentary!
