If you are a conservative do you hope that Democrats mess up?
If you are a liberal do you hope that Republicans mess up?

Don't you see there is something wrong here?

your question in almost a non-sequitur...

today's Republicans are not conservatives -- they believe in BIGGER government and LESS accountability.

today's Democrats are not liberals -- they vote with Republicans on the war and have yet to roll back the tax cuts for the rich implemented by King George.

nobody needs to "hope" that the other side messes up. there has been so much Republican scandal over the last 7 years that there's no question, and the Democrats are doing nothing about it.

I wish the Democrats would shake off the obvious influence that far left wing organizations such as moveon.org have on them. There was a time in this country when Democrats thought of their country first. Now they care only about pleasing their lunatic socialist friends, getting re-elected, and confiscatory, economy busting taxes.
Today's Democrat Party is not the party that my father supported. If my father were to see today's Dems and the shameful way people like Harry Reid and John Kerry behave, he'd switch parties.
I'm not saying Republicans are saints, but I truly believe they, on the whole, put their country first.

certainly not. the opposing views of left and right are what keep us in balance and in the middle ground. Although things progressed rapidly under a Repub/repub Pres/Cong it was a fast track to the edge. Like it or not the repubs NEED the Dems and Visa Versa. Just as we need night as much as day we need to to keep the planet from being a frozen waste and a burnt cinder so too we need each other to keep ourselves centered.

Not at all, I want to see some success from both parties. We need them both to keep each other in check. No party should be allowed to run rampant. They both have some valid points.

No, i want them all to win ?! why can't we all do it together, instead of all this divisions and red tape?! we have the power to do it all ? Just think, brainstorm, come up with an idea, nurture that idea to a working model and finally implement, as easy as abg? lol, That's all folks.

let's meet half way ! i love to have you with me on this trip?

My Best Regards

Thank Goodness that medical science has determined that optimists out-live pessimists...In a few hundred years the ill-wishers will be extinct, and the well-wishers will continue forward. Isn't evolution wonderful....

You still have to clear something up for yourself.....There are conservatives and there are liberals...Two different ways of thinking.....Then there are are the two parties holding America hostage..Don`t get party loyalty mixed up with rational thought.

The democrats have move so far left from what they used to be it is a shame.

They were once a good party, but now? they are just about useless. They also border on socialists.

To late, they already have.

(Of course the republicans aren't doing that great either, as a general rule)
