Make her some gift cards..
Include things she normally does , that you would be willing to do for her.
Maybe you can cook her breakfast tomorrow, or give her a manicure and pedicure.
Think of things you can for her that she would enjoy, but wouldn't do herself.
I always like getting new potholders and kitchen towels, I always asked my kids for them, 1, they were enexpensive for them to get and 2 I go through them so fast because I am always wiping up spills and messes with them.
Does she like to cook, go down the utensil aisle and look for things she doesnt have in the drwer and make a basket of them.
Comfy house slippers are always welcome, especially if they are not the big goofy ones, but a nice pair.
A nice set of gloves and scarf if you live in the cool weather.
Does she wear socks? buy a crazy pair of socks and a very nice pair.
There are lots of things to get, that moms will appriciate, we really are quite easy to buy for.

You should get her a gift card at some place where she really likes to shop and put it in an envelope along with a little Christmas card. Make sure you write something very meaningful. Just letting her know that you thought of her is the best present she would want.

A corsage she can wear Christmas day would be sweet. Does she read? A gift card to the bookstore is also nice in any amount. Most moms are pretty aware of whatever their children's financial situation is. As a mom and a grandma, what I appreciate most is my kids coming for dinner shaved and dressed well and not being in a hurry to leave :-)

Parents are tough because they already have everything they want. I go to the dollar store (a real one where everything really is $1.00 or under) and walk through the whole thing. Anything I see that reminds me of them, whether it's practical or goofy, I buy. I spend about $3-$5 a person, they get lots of presents, and they know I really thought about them, I didn't just get something that everybody else got their Mom.

Without knowing anything about either of you, I would suggest going to Hallmark and looking at the collector series ornaments. Make sure it's the Series. I collect the cool decade and the Angle series. There are only so many made each year and you could buy her the new one each year. They are very beautiful and continue to hold their value. You can see some of the series at hallmark.com
The price range is $8.00 to $25.00 each. You will be able to find something for her.

Burn a CD of all her favorite songs, make her a beautiful card with a cut-out snowflake on the front, buy her some chocolates, make her some christmas sugar cookies in the shape of christmas trees, etc.
What my mom loves is when my brother and I make snowflakes and put them up all around the house. While we cut them out, my brother and i listen to christmas music. It's really fun! And my mom says it looks absolutely gorgeous when we're finished.
kisses, cassie

Depends on your budget, something homemade just to show that you care and are glad to still have her in your life is always appreciated I think or treat her to breakfast, lunch, dinner or a gift card. Gift cards are good in the way that she can get whatever she wants.

I got my mom shoes at payless. She really wanted the shoes and they were inexpensive. Other ideas include dresses, cooking stuff, maybe a camera....
