i have so much wonderful ideas but im sure i could share a few with you
first thing in the morning make a Christmas eve breakfast like some coco with egg and bacon that look like Santa or instead of the coco drink fresh orange juice with a candy cane in it (wrapped still so the candy cane wont mesh with the juice)
next go outside and see if theres any evergreens around the neighborhood! if you find some go inside and make some cool decorations like lol a misol toe maybe?and some snowflakes and if you have pine trees near bye grab a few and and paint gold and silver on the pine cones!

after decorating /crafts it should be around lunch time)
so heres what i have in mind what if you make a sand witch
(any) and put a snowflake make of icing on top (make sure the sand witch is sweet) for drink maybe a cold glass of milk will do fine

yay now for the cookie making! the classic cookie for Christmas is the sugar cookie
so wip a batch up and decorate it any king of christmas theme you want !

if your up for it cook a yummy in the tummy dinner just for yah
4 and you have to think of that on your own lol but ill give you a hint:get some apple cider and dont tell the kids that its juice act like its real wine lol (the kids will think they are all grown up
just because of that lol)

once your set or everything get some board games,Christmas movies,Christmas songs (if you don't have a cd just sing it yourself ),and don't for get the coco lol !

love,
*Pauline*

Put the kids to bed early telling them Santa is on the way. So you and the other half can open a different type of christmas present in the bedroom. Its fun and its cheap. If you don't have a sweety, spend time with the kids watching movies, making cookies, etc...

Merry Christmas either way....

Ok well a fun christmas eve snack dinner could be cool.. When I was a kid I loved this... You might think its sad but we had a picnic style dinner.
We called it Pick & Mix what we had was
Sandwhiches
Crackers
cheese
Pickles
Nuts
chrisps
and fun size chocolate treats afterwards.

We also used to leave a glass of sherry out for santa with a mince pie for him to snack on. We also left carrots out for the reindeer lol.. kids love that sorta thing if they are young.

You could also ask then to draw a picture for Santa so that Santa knows what presents to leave the kids.

These Ideas are cheap.

What about christmas caroling ?

Play Christmas music, and occasionally belt out a few songs with the kids!
Cut paper snowflakes out, and put them up all around the house, it always looks gorgeous, and it's so much fun!
Make sugar cookies in the shape of christmas trees, and decorate them with colors of frosting.
Make a big dinner, a special one that you don't have to often. (After all, it's Christmas eve)
kisses, cassie

Drink hot chocolate, watch Christmas movie, walk around neighborhood and watch lights, Christmas crafts, cookies, if you have a camera maybe take some goofy Christmas pictures, and making memories is free. Good Luck.

Read The Chrismas Story - The Birth of Jesus to your children, from the bible. You will find the verses in Matthew 1:18-25, Matthew 2:1-12; Luke 1:26-38; and Luke 2:1-20.
Talk about how great God's love for us is; to give His only son. And how giving ourselves to God is the greatest gift we can offer.
Draw and color a nativity picture. Talk about the 3 wise men and the gifts they brought to baby Jesus.
This is a great website, for crafts and activities: http://www.daniellesplace.com/html/bible_themes_-_jesus.html

Enjoy your children; they are a blessing. They will grow up fast.
MERRY CHRISTMAS :)
