Well, I live in University City, which is really part of St. Louis, Missouri. St. Louis is of course famous as the gateway to the west during pioneer days, and for that magnificent Gateway Arch down by the Mississippi River. It is also famous for St. Louis blues, about the best music short of a full symphony. And the St. Louis Cardinals, which have been known to win now and again . . .

But University City should be more famous than it is. It is partially on the sight of the St. Louis World's Fair, the one Judy Garland sang about in "Meet Me in St. Louis." It's now a park and several museums, and Washington University took over one of the largest buildings.

St. Louis is a terrific city, and University City is especially fine, because it has a very diversified population. Ya'll come visit, heah?
