Someones pulling your leg, no a large animal like the America Bison, buffalo, does not have nor did they ever have wings.
Many years ago someone started cooking up chicken wings with a special sauce, sometimes very spicy and hot. The place these wings originated was Buffalo, NY. Read the below site for more information.

Yes...yes they do.
It's an awesome sight to see the flying herds of buffalo that are common over here in the US, dripping an orange-coloured sauce on the land below them.
