Does women still knows how to cook and clean nowadays?

Not trying to offend any women here, but, I'm curious..

In the past, women are great and useful in the home, they cook, clean, taking care of children etc..etc.. Do women still do that nowadays? I'm asking because if I want to get married, I want to have a wife who knows how to cook, clean and do house-work.

When I come home from work I want to see dinner on my table..

So, does women still knows how to cook and clean nowadays?

If relationships are based on who can cook and who can't it won't last. Most thing's end being shared in the household, my wife does a variety of chores and so do I. Good luck :)

Sure. I think it's important even if you don't have a husband, so that you can teach your children be self sufficient. When they get older and have homes of their own they know how to clean and cook for themselves. My daughter at 15, now knows how to clean and cook. I have been divorced for quite some time now, but when I was married I cooked and cleaned and still do. I was determined I wasn't going to raise my child on fast food, so I'm old fashioned so I believe those things are important. And even with the women's lib, it does fall on women to do these things. . because let's face it when folks come to your home they will never say "why didn't he clean up?" they will always say "she doesn't keep a clean house."

Most women know how, but some of them might refuse to do it for someone who is a bigoted, lazy good for nothing slob. Marriage takes two to work, and If you expect a woman to do all the grunge work while you do nothing but drink beer or liquor, and mess up the house, well, that ain't gonna fly with anyone who has a lick of self respect.

Of course. It is a choice made by a womAN whether they want to cook or clean. Back when fewer women worked, many did not clean or cook well.

Yes we clean and take care of our children and cook dinner
and work.
And if we are lucky like me I have a husband that helps also
we all have to pitch in ...A WOMAN has the right to do what she wants if she chooses to cook clean raise a family she can I f she wants to cook clean raise a family and work she can
if she does not want a family and works she can do that too.
and we also have the right to stay away from men like you

If my husband had that attitude, I would divorce his ***. I do keep my house clean and take care of my child. I cook which I hate to do. My husband and son also helps around the house.

I work full time and have two kids (single parent) my house is spotless always even if it means cleaning hours after work, and as for cooking we wouldn't be so fat and happy if I didn't know how to cook

I love to cook and keep my home clean but I do it for myself and have no interest in being married.

the material when the fuel of women is in their blood

well now that women found out their rights not a lot of women want to do those things. they want to go out into the world, have a career just in case their husband dumps them, and work. but there are some women that want to stay home. it depends on who though. like me myself there is no way id be a stay home mom and while some people i know will love it.
