It would help if you gave us an idea of what level of school you were at, whether you expected to do original work, and so on.

Have you ever investigated "fibonacci numbers?"

They are fascinating and manifest themselves in nature. There have been several enjoyable and readable books written just about them.

The fibonacii numbers are generated from two starting numbers, 0 and 1. The next one is always the sum of the previous two.
