Agree with the recommendation for Blue October.
Search for their song "into the ocean" and then look for the song "She's my ride home" both great tunes, the whole album of "Foiled" is excellent.
The Envy Corps is another great band - look up the song Rhinemaidens or Story Problem, they aren't too popular yet but are on the rise =)

if you like Paramor you'd probably like I Nine, and their first single is Seven Days of Lonely
