Tis the Christmas stress period -that is all. I predict a considerable shift in mood at 3pm Christmas Eve.
My advice is to punch anybody with a "Bah humbug!" attitude in the face and wish them a Merry Christmas! Rinse and repeat until some Christmas cheer appears...

Christmas is the biggest fraud holiday we Christians have. We got this fat bear-ed it man in red and replaced him for the real deal. Now this fictional character brings to all, Small and old, presents. chi ching big faceless corporations are cashing in, while we the peasants stay with bills that will stay until the next season. That is why everyone feels like you during the holidays

I'm not miserable. Don't let other people get you down. Life is so short. Relax and enjoy yourself. I hope you have a lovely Christmas and a happy New Year.

Now- with all the shopping and worrying about presents- everyone seems to panic and freakout which leads to..
MISERABLENESS! So, you should just shake it off and have a great time! Merry Christmas!

You're right. I was looking at a very dull Christmas this year if it wasn't for special people in my life that cheered me up. If I were you, I would ask them what's up before the get you down....

because people place to many personal expectations on holidays .. instead of remembering that it should be a joyful occasion .. don't let them get you down ..
for your own sake just be agreeable don't dispute
hug .. smile a lot ... and entertain them with jokes or
improvise .. pick yourself up ...and maybe your example will cheer the others too ..best of luck
enjoy your holidays
