I wouldn't allow any violence of any kind in our household-no hitting, kicking, slapping, or beatings. My parents provided us with food, shelter, clothing, religious training, and sacrificed to get us all an education, which I am grateful for. They tried their darndest to love us, but unfortunately, they couldn't control their anger. It destroyed my respect for them, and made me distrust authority. I'm happy now, but unlike others, I'd rather not be the person I am today, I'd rather have lived a simple and safe childhood, without violence.

I think I didn't to change it about of being raised it from my parents because they always to reminds me when it comes my studies, always to keep pray a lot and always to keep my feet to the ground and I didn't to do it of anything like to taking a drugs, doing a theft and a lot more and that's why my parents were both working and they want to give me and my brothers for sending it in a good education for this is good of our own and for our future and this is a good an example as being a role model for the families all over the countries

I wish I could have changed a lot. I am 58 years old and memories of how I was raised constantly haunts me.
I guess the biggest thing I would have done was to value me as a kid with a lot of curiosity and given the opportunity to for fill and explore that curiosity to the fullesf extent possible.

If I could change anything, I would make it so that I was born under parents who didn't constantly fight. I'd make sure I do really well in school so I can get into a good college. I'd want to convince myself to ALWAYS brush my teeth at night because, since parents are, most of the time, role models, and they sometimes skip, I sometimes skip too. I would want my mom to be less strict about everything; she has NEVER said a good thing about any of my concerts, her excuse being "if you never hear the bad aspects, you'll never learn!"

I don't steal, I have no use for drugs, I haven't assaulted or killed anyone, and my Marriage has lasted for 33 years and growing. I have 6 kids, and 4 of them have taken on my principles, and Morales.
Mom and Dad you did a great JOB, may both of you rest in peace.

I also have a lot of respect for my parents, but there is one thing I really feel was not fair or just: the boys in the family got preferential treatment, and were allowed to bully me without suffering any serious consequences. One brother in particular was quite sadistic, but he was Mum's favourite and she wouldn't hear anything bad about him (still won't).

I had some horrible experiences when I was young, but I wouldn't change any of them, because my past enables me to be who I am, and I am very Happy with who I am.

To eat less.
My parents always wanted me to eat, and not be hungry.
I'm not fat or anything, but i would like to be skinner. And thats all because from being a child I used to eat a lot.
But, i would like to change the amount of what i ate. :)
