Trust me hun, when the time comes to give birth you really wont give a damn because you'll be so excited and distracted and perhaps in pain to even notice what is going on down there other than the baby coming out. The doctors and nurses and midwives have seen a lot worse than poo before and it probably happens to a few women so dont be embarrased they are probably used to it. When the baby is born you wont even notice the rest of it because you'll finally have your bub in your arms and thats all that matters. I know it seems very daunting and for us that are the shy types and dont like others seeing us without clothes ect it can seem embarassing, but seriously dont give it a second thought =]

Trust me you get over this really quickly when you are in labor. Pooing on the delivery bed is completely normal. Remember, the doctors and nurses have seen it all, so they aren't going to point at you as something they have never seen before. Birth is messy and puts a mother in a very vulnerable position...but it is ALL worth it when you hold that baby in the end. You won't care who has seen you or what you have done.

Don't worry!!!
We all have been there done that. I can't remember pooing on the table, but then again I was in the shower most of the time!!
You are entitled to act like an idiot in there. I kicked and screamed for a couple of hours. They don't care!!! They have seen it all!!!
Honestly it would take more than a bit of poop and a screaming woman to scare a midwife!!!
You will be in too much pain to care.

Good Luck!!!

I was the same way! Once you get in there you won't care. It's amazing all of the feelings and excitement and the pain seem to make the whole thing a big blur. My son was born a little over a year ago and I am no longer as shy about it. It's something you just sor tof get over. I also breastfed and sometimes I couldn't be as modest about it as I would have liked but my son needed to eat and that was that. Congrats!!!! It is so great to be a mom!

Hahaha!!! When you're IN labor you're not going to care if Bush himself comes in and takes a peak...you'll be much more busy freaking out! I felt the same thing before I delivered and you know what...by the end I was inviting people to come look just so I could figure out what was going on.

Seriously at first you might be a little shy...but once real labor begins you stop thinking and your instincts take completely over.

Thats waht i said with my first but when i went into labor i didnt give a crap about anything but the pain!! dont worry about the "poo" either cause the only thing your gonna feel coming out of you is your baby I ended up having my whole family in there with me when i originally was set on having nobodt in the room

I felt like that too with my first. If you are concerned with who's in there just tell family and friends that you love them and they can see you when your in labor, but when it comes to the actual birth they need to leave the room, and tell your husband to stay at your head, lol, that's what I did and they all understand...Your Dr. and nurse have seen it all, just remember "poo happens" they will take care of it and you wont even notice.

You will be alright. When you go to deliver, you will be in too much pain to really think about what you look like. As far as poop my sister did that. They simply cleaned it up and took it away as if nothing happened at all. They see this stuff all the time. They will still make you feel comfortable and be supportive the whole way.

omg I was so scared of that too lol

BUT, they see it often, when you're pushing with all you got, it only seems normal to crap lol

well, I had to keep telling myself "They went to school for this!!" besides, they are getting paid hella money. Just let them see it girl!~

honestly, when it comes down to it, you're more concerned with getting that baby out! and, I don't know if I took a crap during delivery or not, because it's not something that is made a big deal about.

but yea, I thought it would be all stinky and everything, but I think they know how to handle it, and it won't be known to anyone. (I asked my bf later if I pooped, and he said "god, I don't know, that's sick" lol

but seriously, you don't care when it's in the moment. like, I'm hella shy too- and the delivery doctor asked if my mom wanted the see the baby's head (when he was still inside me) and my mom asked me, and I said "I don't care".

it's a unique experience, just go with it! when your baby is here, you won't care. it's THEIR JOB, they chose to go to school to see you crap on a table lol, and they've seen it enough, they could have quit their job if it bugged them bad enough. good luck!
