great question. not such a wild man after all. i guess that film and cartoon people think that hair anywhere other than on the head looks unsightly. something i find hard to take having only my palms, the soles of my feet, buttocks and middle of my back hair free !
have i perhaps been guilty of too much information here, i wonder ?
