Playstation 3 internet question?

Is getting online with the ps3 just the same as it is with the wii? Do you just need a wireless router and then you are set to go? Is there any payment involved when getting online with the ps3?

Yes it is except you can use an ethernet cable connection to a non wireless router or laptop or computer to connect ...It is FREE and to play online is Free as well.

1). You can use wi-fi (except long gone 20GB version) or you can use a wired connection;
2). Playstation Network (PSN) is absolutely free.
