In the Tanach, wed read of the qualifications for the Messiah. Only through his father's decent from David is the child recognized as a potential messiah. All the Messiahs of Jewish history had this in commom, so except for Jesus, who's legal father was not his physical parent, everyone of the others were held up to this Devine standard. Also, all of our "messiahs" have this in common; they talked the talk, but failed to walked the walk.
Marry Christmas, y'all and Shalom.
