For example, a person renounced God, can he still be forgiven if he is undergoing genuine repentance?

What if I've accidentally thought "I ren**nce God" in my mind (I have OCD) several times, though I believe and love God?

funny idea. God is everywhere, one cannot renounce. Just like renouncing ones mother is renouncing our own selves. No need for serious christians here...it is universal understanding

You are saved by believing with your heart (Romans 10:9,10). It is the Holy Spirit who convicted you of your sin and gave you the faith in your heart to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior (John 16:8,9), Your spiritual rebirth is the work of the Holy Spirit who will remain in you forever as His temple(John 3:5,6,14:16, 1 Peter 1:5). Once you are saved you are always saved. You cannot undo the Holy Spirit's work without help of the Holy Spirit by renouncing God. What you do by your carnal mind or flesh by renouncing God cannot please God and will have no spiritual effect to cause you to lose your salvation (Romans 8:8). Once you are saved when you walk in the flesh and commits sin you only fall out of God's grace and cease to enjoy God's protection and inheritance. The devil can have a field day with you.

You can be forgiven any sin while you are on earth, but do not delay, this is a serious sin. If you procrastinate, and die before you ask for forgiveness, it could be a serious mistake. The question is, when will I die. When I was 13, one of my fellow students died. Was he prepared? Only God knows.

The "Christian" churches mislead people about the Almighty (even calling Him by forbidden names). If that was the only mighty one you knew, you might well renounce Him, for that one is unreal. As you get to know the Savior YAHOSHUA, you need to renounce all false ideas of the mighty one you have been taught over the years.

I have been in the Ministry for 37 years and have recogized
that Satan's job is to tempt us to curse God when we go
through serious trials. Remember, Job's wife told him to
"Curse God and die..." The blood of Jesus Christ never
loses its power to cleanse us; and every night on my knees
at my bedside I claim this, as I take a "dip in the pool" and
come out cleansed with my white robe which HE provides.

It's no problem except to repent.

The only unpardonable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, a sin you have not committed.

As long as you don't blaspheme the holy spirit (Mark 3:29) you can be forgiven. You can say god damn it, rape babies, eat people, murder millions..it doesn't matter..Jesus died for ALL sins except blaspheming the holy spirit. So Jeffery Dahmer and Adolph Hitler - in heaven - 6 million Jewish people that Hitler had killed - being eternally tortured (Mark 16:16) by all-loving god.
