I'm feeling very depressed right now because I can't decide on what to do what my future. I DO know exactly what I want to do, but I'm afraid it might not work out as planned. I'm not sure of whether I want to go to school next semester or not. Last semester I missed a lot of school & was mentally hospitalized. They put a block on my registration & wanted to expel me for DISORDERLY CONDUCT. They perceived of my anxiety attack as disorderly conduct. I was & still am under a whole lot of psychological stress & pressure. I'm afraid to go back next semester for that same reason. I eel like I'm wasting a lot of time & money. I can't even get out of bed. I'm lying on the mattress with my laptop. For the past few days I haven't been eating that much. I get distracted easily & I can't concentrate. I've also been sleeping a whole lot.
Do you have any advice on how I can improve my mood & feel more hopeful? I feel mentally cripple-can't think straight, & like things will never get better.

anything that can help you get out of your head long enough to relax... movies can be an escape... i like going alone in the woods watching animals and trees blowing in the wind, but might be wrong time of year where you are... try not to fall victim to sleeping all the time as it is tempting when depressed... go to the pet store and play with the kittens and puppies... go to a church ( any denomination) and talk to minister/preacher person but you may want to go when there isn't services... play online video games or interact with people on the web from all over the world.. lastly try to think of the poeple in places in this world where it is actually far worse than your situation even though you have some problems it really could be worse... darfar, iraq, homeless, dying of cancer slowly, soldiers who lost legs or head injuries

Hi there,
You know many people in this world are in the same mood, I am most 90% of my day...
The other 10% i try and involve myself with others, or get out of my dark room..
I can only say
live and don't think about regrets, but if we dont take chances we realy have nothing to look forward to.
You only live once and well as mine it seems to be going faster and faster, like time almost up feel me, so do what you think is best for you.. hope that helped alittle

Please contact someone (or group) to help you get through this. It can be difficult living with anxiety attacks but my experience has been that reaching out and getting the help I needed has made my life much better.
I am only speaking from experience here, but when I feel like "I CAN'T get out of bed", I will set a timer and force myself to get up and do "something constructive" for at least 5-10 minutes... I see that I made it through that and will increase the time... Eventually getting my body moving and my mind on other things seems to help me... If the weather permits where you live, try going outside for a walk, breath in deeply and think of how good it feels..
BUT KNOW, I am only speaking from my experience. It sounds to me like you need professional help and to lean on people you trust. Good luck. There are lots of people out there who care

Awe, I'm really sorry for what you're going through. I'm in 8th grade this year but last year I missed 2 weeks for staying at the mental hospital but I had to come back home because I couldn't stand that place. There was this old mean lady who would always yell & order me to do things {ONLY me} even though I was one of the kindest, most obeying kids there. She was a ******* Racist with a turtle looking face. I have gone through MANY MANY things b/c of my depression but I don't think I wanna wear my fingers out for typing too much.
Umm, EXCERSIZE...it'll improve your mood & help you concentrate.

i know exactly how you feel, i was a patient of major depressive disroder for 2 years. the meds wont start working till at least a month. you need to do whatever you're comfortable with, crying it out etc. but whatever you do, try not to completely avoid ppl too much. you still need social interaction

Open a word program on your computer
Start to write a story of this person who was alway depressed and had to do and had happen to them all the things you are experiencing.
Then bring in a character who you can ask and they ask you questions and you do answering to their question and you answer their question
And it can be a story that goes on for who knows how long its your story
The person can become happy and have a family and they tell their kids of how hard of a time it was for ME and to be a comfort for your kids their troubles are not only theirs
I was tought this by my doctor

It's all jus' lookin' at things from a different point of view... Changin' your focus to lookin' at what you have and sayin' "Man... It could be SO much worse" If there's somethin' you don't like about your life, change it.. Cause you're the only one that can. That goes for your point of view too.
