Goose meat is more oily - it is delicious, but modern people may find it too greasy. Back in the middle ages, when people were short on fat in their diet, it was considered wonderful for its greasiness. The hungrier you are, the better it tastes.
It's more expensive than turkey, but cheaper than steak. You should try it.

goose is much darker than turkey. It has a lot more oil in it and it is greasier, resulting in a more flavorful meat. If you like dark meat, and only wish it could get darker, goose is for you. Once you go goose, you never go back.

All dark meat, can be very fatty. Cook it breast down so the fat drips off rather than breast up like a turkey. Less meat, much more expensive anywhere in the US.
If you're serving 8 or 10 for dinner you'll need 2.

Nobody should be eating animals that are deliberately killed to be eaten. If you really, really, really have to eat meat, eat road-kill. Or, if you have a boyfriend/girlfriend that looks delicious enough to eat, the both of you can eat each other. It is allowed. All is fair in love and war.
