If you're a Christian and have truly felt the presence of God in your life, then your doubts may just be a part of normal growing up. It doesn't mean you're not a Christian just because you go through a period where you have doubts about God. It's normal to question things! It's healthy & something God would always encourage! I would suggest you seek guidance from your pastor, reading books, and praying....look within yourself and give it time. If you don't believe in God at all after say....a year of doing this, then make a decision about labeling yourself agnostic. But don't do it just based on you having a few doubts here and there!

No. This is just a review, an update of personal beliefs. The outcome could be that you (for example) become agnostic, atheist or even more Christian than you are already. We have to really believe what we believe. The Spirit knows when we are just paying lip service to a doctrine or belief system. You must think carefully, research and then decide where you want to be. When this happened to me I became Pagan because that is where the path took me. I still believe in God but now I see Him through different eyes.

Agnosticism is more than just questioning the existence of God. An agnostic thinks it impossible to know the truth in matters such as God with which Christianity and other religions are concerned. Or, if not impossible, at least impossible at the present time. So if you still have faith, then no worries, your still a theist.

Not necessarily. If you doubt the existence of God, you're probably still assuming that if God exists, he has some specific characteristics, namely those that make you doubt his existence. You could be assuming He's good, and wonder why there is evil in the world He created. You could be assuming He's responsive to prayer, and wonder why yours go unheeded. Those are still framed from within a particular religion.

A theist in a crisis of faith is not immediately an agnostic. At least not in my view.

Someone who is truly born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit cannot have any doubt about God's existence. Such a Christian knows that the Holy Spirit, God Himself, is living in him and when he prays in the Spirit God is working through him. The Holy Spirit also bears witness with his spirit that he is a child of God (Romans 8:16). He may have doubts about other areas of belief but certainly not about God's existence.

an agnostic is still a theist....

but no he doesn't and i think it is important for believers to question their beliefs and why they believe what they do. most of us will go through these times although some of us are fortunate enough to have such strong encounters with God right at the beginning that we do not need to question our belief in God only the way we worship and why...

I'm a former Christian, and your question sounds like the biography of my life. I'm now an Agnostic. So yes.

Some are and some are not.

Isaiah 66:1

1 This is what the LORD says:
"Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool.
Where is the house you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?

Everyone I have ever met has doubt about his belief, but does nothing about it because they are afraid that their god will punish them, so they just fall deeper into their stupor.

No, every person of faith has moments of doubt, and every unbeliever has moments of faith.
