digital camera fujifilm dx-10?

hi i have a camera which has a smart card, when i take the smart card out of the camera to read on my pc nothing happens do i need a driver to get the smart card to work.

The drivers are built in to XP and Vista. 98 needs drivers installed, that usually come on cd with the reader. Do you see the pictures on the camera display so you know they are there?
do they show up at the photo store? Does "My Computer" show the card at all? My built in add on reader has a reset button to "wake up" the reader which I sometimes have to press to see the card. You could use the serial cable if you have it and the drivers, but it's not going to work with out the fuji supplied drivers
