Haha. Just in case you arn't kidding - cooties doesn't exist except on the playground. In children, it is contracted by touching a member of the opposite sex! Ew! Luckily, there is a cure. You simply recite (while motioning on your arm) - "circle, circle, dot, dot - now you've got the cooties shot."

Cooties are not a real disease. Cooties are a made-up disease associated with people of the opposite sex amongst children. For example, Boy 1 may dare Boy 2 to talk to a girl, and Boy 2 may respond: "No way! She has cooties!"

Fake germs. Usually you can only get them from the opposite sex. For example, if a boy touches a girl, she now has his cooties.
