Don't use collars. They are a choke hazzard for cats. I have used frontline drops on the back of the neck and I find they are most effective.

Cats won't usually wear A collar (but hearts work well with dogs and they make for cats) If they have fleas you need to get rid of them first there are many products like dips (good luck wear long gloves) and if it's bad you may need to bomb your resident with A pesticide. All can be found at pet stores like Pets Mart and they can assist you in what you will need. Hope you and the kittens have A wonderful new year!

I agree with everyone else no collar, if you have to use drops go for the natural drops. They are a little more expensive but a lot safer. You can get them at Wal-Mart, they are your best bet. Sergeant's Nature's Guardian They carry everything from flea powders, to the drops and all natural.
Also, if you are using cat litter, there is only one kind to use. I had a lady who has a cat refuge in our town tell me about this stuff. Arm & Hammer has a completely natural cat litter that works great. Cat lick off the dust from their cat litter and over time if it is made of stuff other then natural they can get clotted in their system.
So as they say Natural is always better. For our animals and us.

No such thing as 'best' flea collars. None of them work. Please get proper flea treatment from a vet, like Frontline. Flea collars only ward fleas away from the neck area, which is no good. Don't use any pet store flea treatments - all useless!
