if you have a tatoo please help, i have two tiny tattoo's one on my arm and one on my neck, Now i want one on my lower back but i want to know how much it hurts. Does it hurt?

i have 7 tattoos one on my chest didn't hurt, one on my stomach didn't hurt, one on my shoulder it was the first one i had done it hurt a little bit, i have 2 tribal band that go all the way around my arm it didn't hurt untill the got to the underside of it that is what hurt, then i have a butterfly and a tribal on my lower back it didn't really hurt the only thing that bothered me with that one was when he was doing the left side of my spine the left leg was tingleing and the same with the right side

I have two one on my abdomen and one on my inner lower arm, I love them. Both done by true professionals one of which did the man out of the Slayer, so I knew I was getting a piece of art. I will most definitely get more too, as everyone talks to me about them, and finds me almost interesting it’s funny seeing them staring at them. Both mine hurt but not unbearable. I’ve never had one on the area you want so I couldn’t say as each part of the body is different. I will be honest I aint keen on the lower back tattoos, I love tattoos but will never get one there.

It all depends on your pain threshold, i have two tattoos one on arm and the other on my lower back, it took about an hour to do and can honestly say it didn;t hurt, yet my friend had one and it hurt her. You could always get them to use the cream to stop the pain

Lower back isn't a very painful place. The stomach, neck, privates and extremities hurt the worst

No it doesn't hurt much. The tatoo on my foot hurt a lot worse than that. If it hurt that bad you wouldn't see as many women with them as you do. Brave girl. I heard the neck hurts a lot worse.

I want two, one on my hip and one on my lower back hehe. Lower back looks the best, but too many tattoos dont look that good girl. Not being mean, just giving my opinion. <3 x

the first tattoo i got was on my lower back, i was 15.
i bawled, and i broke my sisters knuckles by holding her hands too tight.
but also; my artist DIDN'T talk to me threw any of it. at all.
it really helps to have your artist carry on a conversation with you while getting inked so you don't really have time to think about how much it hurts.
i just got the top of my foot inked 2 days ago, and they say that's one of the most painful places, since there's so many nerve endings and bones. and there's no fat.
the artist i chose was a girl, who's light handed and she talked to me threw the whole thing.. and it really helped me to focus out the pain.
on a scale from 1-10 my lower back was probably a 3. and so was my foot.
make sure your artist talks to you, even if you have to make him, srsly. and if you're really worried about pain then talk to your artist and maybe you can come up with something else to do.

The thinner the skin is over the bone the more it will hurt.Like if you get a tattoo n your ribs or foot (like I did) then it's going to be extremely painful.So it really depends on how much fat you have on your lower back.

I had one put on my arm when I was sixteen, that was in 1958.
I called in a tattoo parlour yesterday, by co-incidence because my finace Caz, wants one done on the small of her back.
We were told it does hurt, but you can get a topical numbing cream to help, I remember when I had mine done that I was told that any tattoos close to the bone hurt.

if you pinch bits of ur body, were it hurts more is where a tatoo is gona hurt more.
ive had them on my arms and its not too painfull ,but when you start on the chest and back it does hurt somewhat more!
but at the end of the day it's not unbearable and dosnt last forever.
just grin and bear it lol
