My boyfriend would tell me he's broke sometimes, and then before I know it he asks me for a drink with him, and when I check my purse later I have few notes missing, I see him paying the bill and he would have similar notes that I had.It can only be him coz I live with him and we are due to be married.I earn more than him and I think this will mess things up in future.I'm tired of it I want to break this engangement.

they shouldn't! if you've got a boyfriend stealing from you, tell him to stop or you'll dump him. once some people are in a relationship, they think it's ok to go into your purse/wallet, the old "what's yours is mine" rubbish. it usually means what's yours is mine, what's mine's my own! they don't see it as stealing, but it is. & it's invading your privacy! if you don't say anything, they'll just go on doing it, so be strong & firm. it isn't ok, it's still stealing. happy Christmas, diane.

You can't say that. Just because your boyfriend may have stole from you doesn't mean men in general do.
I think 98% of men wouldn't dream of stealing anything of their girlfriends. You need to find yourself a good man!

Yes, I would break the engagement. If he's stealing from you now, if you married, it would get worse, because then you have promised to share all you worldly goods. It will be what's yours is joint, and what's his is his.
