We DON'T need them... especially for the "sh*tty jobs" as one poster asserts... Assuming we didn't have the criminals here, prices and associated costs would eventually stabilize... Do I want to pick tomatoes? Not especially... Will I do it for $30 an hour... yeah, I probably would... Do I want to pay $10 a pound for tomatoes? Not especially... Will I? Yes... and I'll be planting tomatoes in my back yard shortly thereafter!
Americans will come to realize there is no job beneath us once again... and become a bit more self sufficient in the process... that's a good thing, imo!

First off I don't believe people should come here illegally, and I believe if you are here illegally you should be sent back. But all the illegal aliens I've met (allot) work in regular paying jobs, same type that I work. By the way I've never been at a loss for work. See now hiring signs all over the place. They don't know that they can get free medical care, free food, free educations, or subsidized housing. I'm sure if you could explain how they would like to know. They don't work for cheaper wages (they don't have too and their not stupid). Many of them tend to pay more taxes than the average American, because they not only pay property taxes and taxes on purchases they make, many of them are on the books at their jobs and they cant file their taxes to get any money back, they also cant collect social security.

I was laid off Thanksgiving from a job that according to Bush, Americans don't want. I am in the construction business and it is slowing down very fast. Anyway, for the past few weeks I have driven 600 miles looking for a job, putting in dozens of applications all over this part of the country. At every job I have been to I was pretty much the minority. Every construction site went to and asked for the boss, no one could even speak english. It is just frustrating for someone who has worked hard their whole life to be sold out by their government.

Most of illegals have good Medical or Dental insurances,which most of Americans don't have,food stamps, free clothes and don't want to speak English.
People are greedy,they want every time more and more for free.

Boy, is there alot of misinformation in these answers....illegals can't get welfare? wrong....Section 8 housing, food stamps, medical & money for the anchor babies they have every 9 months benefit the whole illegal family...Can't pay taxes..wrong, many do pay taxes and because of low wages get back THOUSANDS more than they paid in, lettuce $10. a head, what a joke, picking & processing vegetables is only 7% of the cost a the grocery......I could go on & on! But bottom line the illegals have ONLY a NEGATIVE impact on our country.

Illegal aliens usually buy used cars and function in our society as we do but proceeds from gas tax and other taxes go into the usa economy and not back to mexico like their paychecks.

1. They pay Medicare, Social Security and income taxes, but don't get any benefits. What does that mean? They gave they USA $189 billion worth of wages. They are held in what is called a suspense file. They are the reason why Social Security will not run out!
Reminder: Welfare Reform of 1996 disqualified illegal immigrants from receiving benefits like food stamps or welfare benefits.
That's just one of the top of my head, how about keeping CA's income alive. Agriculture helps us more than hollywood (they like to shoot in Canada and finance through Germany.)

You paying the bill for no insurance claims at the ER is more of a problem with people from here than Mexicans. Illegal aliens are a small percentage of the no insurance issue. Your Republican government is what is F**king it up. The real issue here is that you are a racist. Sorry dude, that's the truth.
