I have two accommodation options. One in Surfers Paradise and one in Broadbeach. Which one is better?

I was thinking of visiting Sea World, Dream World and Movie World and play golf.. and also shopping at Pacific Fair.

In terms of convenience, which is a better location?

The distance between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach is 3.5kms approx 3 minutes by car.
So either would be convenient for your purposes.

Pacific Fair shopping centre is located in Broadbeach, so maybe choose Broadbeach.
If I was staying at the Gold Coast I'd want to be at Burleigh or North Burleigh.

Much of a muchness. Surfers has more nightclubs and bars. Personally, I avoid Surfers with a passion 'cos it's quite tacky. It's fun to visit but when I stay in GC, I prefer Broadbeach 'cos there are less drunks at night than Surfers.

Deffinatley Broadbeach. Surfers paradise is a little crowded, and come night time you get alot of teenagers running around drinking and doing things that teenagers do.

I would say Surfers is more central with more buses running from there to the theme parks but it is sooo tourist and filled with drunk english backpackers at night!
