"Incorrectly"

I most often hear (usually Americans) pronounce Iraq and Iran incorrectly. In fact I hear it every day on the news. It is not pron. "eyerack" or "eyeran" rather "eerack" and "eeran" . one would think that if you're fighting a war such as the one in Iraq, you'd know the proper pronunciation. Believe me.... even the media and politicians gt it wrong all the time.

Espresso (expresso)
Ask (ax)
Nuclear (nuke-you-lar)
Didn't (di'in/di'int)

And a phrase pronounced incorrectly is "an historic moment." It's "a historic moment" if you're American since we pronouce the h as a consonant! It is only "an historic" if you are from the UK and treat the h as silent! They say "an historic" on the news all the time (in the western U.S.) and it drives me freaking nuts.
