Everytime my family has noodles I always get fried rice and I always pick out the cabbage and capsicum because I don't like it. My Mum thinks its not right to ask not it put it in there because 'you get what your given'. What are your thoughts on this?

The Fried Rice is made right in front you and it would be so easy not to put it in.

And I know this is a ridiculous question-but I don't want to be picking bits out of my rice tonight lol :)

Ask them to leave it out! Why not after all you are paying for the meal, and should have it the way you want it not they way they automatically serve it. Would you mother eat a steak that was well done if she wanted it rare? No, so you shouldn't have to pick out the things you don't like in your fried rice.

Remind your mom that you are paying for what you want, not whatever they decide to give you. Go ahead and ask for the food fixed the way you like it. As an example; you wouldn`t buy shoes that were too tight. Merry Christmas.

If it's pre-made and they're just filling it in the box for you, then it's not right. But if they're cooking each order separately, then it's perfectly fine.
