Sure they are, by definition if they believe Jesus was "The Christ" then they are Christians. Unfortunately, that does not look too good for the other Christians. If I were one of the other Christians, I would change the name of my particular faith, so as not to be confused with them. Perhaps you can be called "Followers of the Way," as was the custom back when the bible was being written. I know, it has a cultish feel to it, but that's what the followers of Yeshua were called then, and that is what they called themselves. If I were a believer, I would much rather have THAT lable, rather than the perjorative one that Romans gave to them before Constantine converted.

Well they aren't Christians if they are self righteous and spread hatred all over the place. To be a Christian you need to be Christ like which means to be like Jesus. A Christian also reads their Bible and prays to God since being a Christian is having a relationship with God.

Did someone finally determine what a Christian is SUPPOSED to be? I was under the assumption that Christian meant that you believed Christ to be your savior? If that requirement is met, then you are a Christian- regardless of what else you may believe. At least, that is what I thought. If you have proof that your particular brand of Christianity is correct, and that those who don't think the same way that you do are indeed not Christians, then please: share with us.
I had personally believed all of Christianity to be a load, but hey, I may be wrong. Of course, I sincerely doubt that.

Well, my intent is not to incense you all, but I firmly believe that religion needs to be abolished, it has brought nothing good to our world. Religious texts should be burned, rituals banned, and public worship forbidden.
In turn, believing in a higher power and privately entering congress with said power is perfectly okay as long as we don't use it as an excuse to commit atrocious acts.
To answer your question, a fundamentalist is the closest thing to a true Christian, and they represent it quite accurately. The current pope is the lesser of two evils.

There is a problem for sure.
For example, Jesus was speaking about the "Word of God" long before the Bible came along (in the Parable of the Sower) So I an assure you, he was not speaking about a scripture that did not exist (New Testatment). AND I doubt very seriously that he was "sowing" out the temple scrolls!!
All these puzzles are laid out clearly in this online resource... it shows exactly where the problems are.

Unfortunatly Yes. Thats why I set out for a religion that I believed in and one that was based on morality instead of pleasing 'God' while taking no kind of thought to the rights and wellfare of other people. What I found was buddhism.

UUhhhh have you READ the bible lately ? I would guess not !And have you seen as well as the "quality " of many of the victims of the Church's who believe what they are told for the profit of the church . It is a recipe for disaster and the only way to stop a juggarnaut that size is to deflect it . The only weapon in our arsenal powerful enough to do that is knowledge . Unfortunatly you can't force them to accept it they have to do that of their own free will .

I agree with you -- but the Catch-22 about Christianity is this: If they fulfill the "prerequisites" (believe Jesus is the Son-O'-God, died for our sins, etc., etc.) -- and proclaim themselves Christians -- then they're Christians. You and I have no authority to say whether they are true Christians or not. This is the classic "True Scotsman" fallacy; read the link I've provided, and see what you think.

Am I spreading hatred by saying "Jesus Loves You"?
Besides, who is "Bible Only"?
I have the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit to guide me through God's Holy and Complete word, the Bible.
Jesus loves you.
