It ended my confusion over Christianity and God.
I read the Bible and studied it and left trying to become a Christian.

The Bible along with the understand that the Holy Spirit brings helps me through hard times. It has before ( I was suicidal ) , and it has every day. The more you grow spiritually, the more you will know that not a day goes by where you don't need God. Trusting God is necessary every day.

Well yes there are comforting and assuring verses in the Bible
but unless one knows where they are or how to find them....it can be hard to find them at need.
Jeremiah 31:3
Isaiah 41:10
Isaiah 40:31 (I think is correct)
John 6:37
John 3:15-16
John 8:12
Acts 2:21
Hebrews 4:16
etc
If you want to be saved,
I am going to ask you questions Say Yes outloud (type it on the thing so others can see and say it outloud) if you AGREE or WANT otherwise say NO.
Do you believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins, shed His blood, and rose again?
Yes or No?
Do you repent of your sins that is to say turn from them and receive Jesus as your ONLY means of redemption?
Yes or No?
If you say yes, pray this
Lord Jesus, I confess you as Lord now publically with my mouth. I repent of my sins and I turn from them to You. Save all of me and use me for Your glory. I give You all of me. Wash me clean in Your blood. I believe You are the Son of God who died for my sins and rose again. Be the Lord of my life and the Savior of my soul. In Jesus Name amen.

I wouldn't call it a hard time, but there is this one door that keeps on closing all by itself. So I used my bible as a doorstop to hold it open.

Yes David, it has...the Word is Alive!
One morning, not long after my mom passed away, I was feeling lonely and blue. As I was praying and weeping...I asked God to reveal Himself and that I really needed Him at that moment. I opened the Bible to Matthew...
Matt 11:28-30
28 Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light." NLT
At that very moment, I needed Him to take my burden...and He showed me that He would. He would give me rest and comfort in Him.
