As a Christian,we need to humble ourselves in front of Him.Not only with God but also with our neighbors and brethren. We should not be to proud of ourselves because we dont even knows what's lies ahead of us.Only God knows everything. All things comes from God.We have no single possesion when we come on earth.all things belongs to Him.

The lord can be humbled as well - especially by ME. He might be one up on ME with the whole crucifixion and all that jazz, but I have done some even more amazing stuff. And mine can be backed up by living sources - better than a 2,000 year old text written by uneducated hebrews, then rewritten, edited, and flat-out changed as time dictated. The bible is nursery rhymes - MY stories are real, dude! I don't claim to have ever built a boat big enough for two of every animal on the planet - much less gone out and caught two of each. I'VE done "real" amazing stuff - like fed MY family when the lord isn't watching out for US. The lord must be too busy with other stuff, while I make miracles happen.

I might humble myself at the sight of the lord, if I'd ever actually saw the lord.

Would a truly "humble" person say that about themselves, or would they worry and fret about being humble enough?

Nay, I lift up my face in joy to absorb all the love the Goddess would lavish on her beloved child.
Happy, joyous and free to live life needs not be humble.

Your humility is admirable. You'd be surprised at how many people think that theirs is the only true religion! Or that I'll go to hell if I don't believe in Jesus! Your acceptance of diversity is a refreshing change.

MY deity doesn't demand that I bend my knee to him. He likes pride, courage, loyalty and honor, not willful slaves.
Since I think you're talking about the Christian deity, my answer would be No and my pride is about things that I've a right to be proud of: my charity work, my honor, my loyalty, my family and my courage.
