BJP returns back to power lead by Narendra Modi with good majority. What about the punters who had given no chance for Modi victory, I hope they must be down with millions of rupees now.

It is not slap on the face of Congress, but it is slap on the face of people who drafted the Election Speeches of Mrs.Sonia Gandhi, who made the remarks such that Voters tilted towards BJP. The real issues of the people are Good Governance, Safety and Security, right use of Tax Payers' money, Health,Water, Drainage, Employment, Education Industries and above all Communal Harmony at any Cost... and not Communal Divide or communal Hatred of any sort.. whether it be Muslim vs Hindu or Patels Vs Darbars or any caste. Leader use people to exploit and acheive their ends.

TheBJP has been ruling over the state since 1995!In the twelve years period the state had four (4) elections!
Every time the BJP could get an"over-riding emotive issue"!
In 1995, it was Ayodhya Mandir!
In 1998,Hajuriap Khajuria split !
In 2002, thepost Godhra tragedy and riots!
In 2004, the First Electionin a HIndutva Lab!
Till 1991, in the communist country of Russia, elections were held" behind the iron curtain" and the official candidate would invariably win! This election reminds us that here too we can have it, right under the nose of the ECI and the all powerful central govt.!
THe unprecednted holacaust was enacted during the BJP's rule when Vajpayji was out of India and Advaniji , the DY PM
"not only failed to discharge his constitutional duty but also
certified that Modi has brought the situation under control in two days!"
The successive UPA govt, sworn by its adherence to seculiarism and failed to pursue the matter., fearing that tey would loose the majoarity vote! Now they are paying the price for their negligence!
In a polarised society, where people 's eyes and ears are immunised against opposition'svisuals and audios, the official part only will WIN !
But in a typical Indian fashion, those, who were, purposely kept away or who refused to come into their tent, have succeeded in making the official part y loose ten seats and seven ministers were unseated!
Advaniji has been quick to grasp it, and hence declared that the General Elections could not be rushed up!
It is an attempt to s;lap and very narrowly missed!

You have hit the nail on the head. Let us hope this would be a lesson for Madam and her think tank. The Congress was not offering the people of Gujarat a better government; it was offering 'deliverance' from 'merchants of death'. When you pit two communities against each other rights and wrongs are bound to fall by the way side. To many Hindus in Gujarat it would have appeared that a Christian "foreigner" is rousing the Muslims to defeat Narendra Modi who has the guts to stand up for Hindutva and who is not squeamish about dealing with "terrorists".

Madam should take a vacation in gentler climate like Lakshadweep and reflect on the life of her mother-in-law. Minority appeasement and vote bank management cannot be wished away in realpolitik; but it cannot be the only plank.

I read a very funny answer for this question:

"Who have not given the vote to Modi should be killed."

There was 60% voting in Gujarat that means 40% already rejected Modi. Out of 60% around 47% voted for BJP that means that means 28% of Gujarat voted for Modi. So 72% of Gujarati should be killed according to that answer.

And that is what is the fact. Modi has tought killing to my people, to my Gujarat and that is what they want to spread in India.

Remember, Ravan and Kans were very powerful rulers and they ruled there kingdom and this world for a very very long time. Same thing with British, but finally they were eliminated, some from India and some from this world. Remeber, everyone has to pay here only for what he/she have done. This is only the matter of time.

Modi has misguided Gujarat to the direction of violence, hatred, riots, killing and Congress had failed to provide a strong leadership to eliminate him. That does not mean this will never end. Atal, Adwani's era is ending or ended and now it is turn for Modi. BJP does not have many leaders left and that is why they will collapse similar to Congress.

I am hindu and Gujarati and refuse to accept Modi as my masiha. I refuse to kill my neighbours whether they are Muslim or Hindu.

Slap on its brains too;
after denying Lord Ram, if Congress and Co., still get votes and seats mean, our India tolerates so many misdirected persons and in that sense, its slaps galore on the faces of who voted for Lord Ram-deny-ers.
Anyway, Atal,Rajnath,Lalkishen et all should not grow jealous over the victory of Modi and endanger India lest they should also become dangerous for the country.

Confusion is the root of every evil. Let us face it that no Muslim is secular. Many amongst hindus are secular and very few are real theocrate Hindus. I call the seculars fense sitters and real opportunists. I exhault them to convert to Islam or to real Hinduism. This system would clearly demarket the interest groups. It is easy to form policies for such groups. But medalling of secularists in government buseness would always prove to be hurdle.
This election result is resounding slap on the face of such pseudo secularists. MS, you are reading this.

Yes.
Not only Congress, the voter has spat on the ugly faces of the DUMB Sonia & her good for nothing parasitic son . They should NOT show their long faces to public at least for an year.Kapil Sibal should join them in oblivion for writing her vitriolic speeches.
Rahul, who was tom tommed as learning Gujarati for over 4 months, could pick up & deliver only 2 words--kem chho ? Shows his poor capacity to learn, matching that of his slow motion .Voters have decisively spat on the faces of both these .
By her 'maut ke saudagar' rhetoric , Sonia has snatched certain defeat from the jaws of possible success. Congrats congees !

Muslims in Gujarat feels more safe under Modi than anyother person.

Modi is not a politician - he is a CM - a Common Man.

(Others are politicians = spoiled people)

i would be delighted if i am given an answer to this question.

where did this news or fact or statement come from that it was MODI who is resposible for the riots.
did the print media or the tele media show us something that MODI was the one who had instigated the so called communal rioters to go beserk. (LIKE THE CONGRESS MEN DID IN THE ANTI SIKH RIOTS)
do we have something to show at least prima facie that it is MODI who has given the torches or at least lighted the torches. (LIKE IN THE ANTI SIKH RIOTS) like hkl bhagat, tytler and gang.
do we atleast have something to show that MODI at least preached violence at the relevant point of time. (LIKE THE SO CALLED SECULARISTS OUR LEFTISTS MR.BUDDADEB) he categorically said they have been paid with the same coin while reacting to NANDIGRAM issue)

what does all this mean.

do u think the GUJRATIS are fools.
dont they understand the law of politics.
it is very unfortunate that the gujrate riots happened. and modi happened to be ruling. can it be said that he was acting for the rioters at the relevant point of time. who started this sinnical hate campaign. where s the end to this.

all that MODI needs is a good public relations officer who is able to manage and nurture his image, profile and reputation both within the party and generally.

and coming to the muslim/hindu statement in some of the answers.

some say it is a slap on the nation on the constitution on the bla bla bla.

millions of people have voted for him. there are millions and millions more outside gujrat who are his ardent fans.

we are living in a democratic society and it is distressing to hear such statements. it is not hard to perceive as to the mental status of such persons making such statements.
