Do not put water on your monitor. They have monitor wipes at Walmart to clean the screen.

Yes you can, just dont spray directly on the screen. Spray it on the cloth first. Then wipe. I recommend you use eyeglass cleaner, or if you dont have it, windex would do. Just make sure you dont get any liquid into the edges. Thats why you must just spray onto the cloth. Just get it damp. Another good way is to use your hair dryer on the COOL setting, no heat. Blow off the dust. It's cheaper than a can of compressed air, which is what I use.

spray a little windex on a soft clean cloth and that should help clean the monitor and around the keyboard. if not there are computer cleaning supplies at office supply stores.

I just bought a new Samsung monitor and they say to use
a microfiber cloth. They say to use water sprayed onto
the cloth to wipe it and never to spray water directly onto
the screen. The screen and entire case can be cleaned
this way according to them

You can use glass cleaner but the cloth has to be extremely soft so as not to scratch the surface. Especially if it's an LCD screen.

I've used a paper towel with Vinegar Windex sprayed on it. Just be sure that the towel isn't dripping and let the monitor dry before you close it.

Yeah... Apple recommends that you use a damp paper towel to wipe your screen with. It works great.
