I've attracted different kinds. Some have been wanna be players. Which I drop as soon as I notice. Others seem to be shy about women. I have even attracted cry babies.. The one I have now I don't like. He used to be shy but now he is just a wimp.

It's not so much who we attract, but who we choose. For the longest time I kept "ending up" with emotionally unavailable men. Guys who played the "I'm too cool to show you I care" game. Finally I was with a man who REALLY hurt me, and I learned from it. I stayed single for a while after that. Whenever that 'type' approached me, in my head I would say: "Oh, you again, No. No thanks." I just stopped choosing that for myself. Just refused to make that same mistake. I really would rather be alone and have peace then be with a man like that again.
Then... around two years ago, a sweetheart landed in my life. He is rough on the outside (sexy ;0) , but has a heart of gold. Very loving, big hearted and kind. So yeah, it took a while, and many lessons, but I am very happy today.

I know i do. At first i always think they are so much differant then the last...then three months later its the same crap! I think i attract the same type of men because i always meet them in kidn of the same situations. Also guys who are rude have the same behaviuoral charastics, and the other who are nice have tha same. So i think its characterists that seem to put us b\ck to square one.

you attract what you are used to. i know it sounds a little creepy, but you are usually attracted to the same type of person your own dad was to your mom. it just feels familiar, and if your dad wasn't good to your mom, it usually means we're trying to fix another man as a way to heal our own wounds from the way our dads treated our moms.
like i said - sounds a little creepy, but there have been studies done on this.

I think that it is just a matter of what you are interested in, like say if i like books, then i might like nerds.... but then it's also a style thing.....and a self confidence thing
