I'm being serious here! What if a SUPER smart chimp--that has read the bible, and can talk, is REALLY faithful and loves god, while he be denied the access into Heaven? Why would god be as cruel to not let him in? Wouldn't he have a soul by now?

If you're wondering, I am making a point here..about humans evolving from apes..

I recently posted :Do you think God would accept a really really, I mean like REALLY smart chimp into Heaven if he was faithful?

btw I'm an Atheist, and I'm being serious here.....for once.

I won't be able to answer your question since i am no chimp and i have never had any near death experience. I did ask God to send someone to love me and he DID.

Sorry i went to get some stuff for me PC and couldn't get back in time.

NO your not being serious, but trying to be funny against the teachings and the word of God. You are not making a point here. And your 100% wrong when you say humans evolved from apes. I can tell that you don't know about the Holy Bible and if you read the Bible , it will tell you about animals including chimps or apes. Your question is totally based on the imaginary What If !!!! Not logical at all. Try again. A better question is: What if God would let you into Heaven?

if you are making a point, honey, what's your question? God doesn't love people because they are smart, and you don't get a soul by being SUPER smart. The Bible describes the coming beautiful kingdom where the lion and the lamb lie down together, so he can sure let some chimps in it. But we didn't evolve into His children, He made us that way (an honey I accept evolution, but that aint got anythin to do with it)

I don't know if he lets animals in heaven or not. I tend to think they have souls too. I think the animals here on earth will be in heaven praising God too. Ultimately that would be up to God I think but because it matters to us yes. I mean I have seen God heal a dog. If it matters to us then it matters to God. I hope I see my Dog in heaven and your furry Chimp friend. Monkeys are cute until they poke you in the ear with a willow branch. I think its interesting your more interested in an animals spiritual well being then your own. I guess that's what you would expect from a scientist. These are the same people that launched monkeys into space now they are sending them to Heaven to see if they respond back. If you want to test if a human is going to make it hire a monkey to go instead! JK :)

BTW Your A Smokin Hottie!!! To bad I am ugly :P

Man is more than soul and body, unlike any animal we have a spirit. That is the breathe of God, us in his image (Gen). When we sin our spirit nearly dies and hides from God (as Adam and Eve did in shame. You have heard of being born again, that is the spirits regeneration and new life.

A plant has no consciousness, no thought or emotions. A chimp has no spirit, nothing to live on after death. No need for heaven or hell.

I too was an atheist, believed god was another myth to explain what we could not explain. But even then I could not deny that I knew that we had a spirit, that their was more there than we could see. One day the realization that God loved me hit me... he was not some finger-pointing almighty naughty list dictator, but the Creator of everything. And He made it so clear the He the Creator of everything, Almighty, Unfathomable, Divine, Holy God wanted to be with me. He changed my mind, re-birthed my spirit and has partnered with me as the lover of my soul ever since. Wait till the hour He shows Himself and His Son to you.

A soul is a spiritual force/energy that sustains the body. When it departs the body it goes back to its original source of spiritual energy. Thus after death the totality of the animal is at rest, as the body lies in peace, and the soul is reunited with its source.
BTW Tanitha,
it says the wolf will lie with the lamb, not the lion.
Everybody else that's being completely rude:
What do you think is worse, asking a question not being completely serious, or answering a question being disgusting and mean? think about it.

If the chimp can read the Bible, he is as good as a human. Only God can judge him if he has a soul or not.

An animal was not created to have faith, to read the Bible, or for the other purposes that man was created for.

I believe in natural selection, it is in the Bible, concerning sheep; spotted and non-spotted.

However, I'm not of the opinion that one day a fish flopped up on land and sprouted lungs, or one day a monkey stopped throwing crap and then gave birth to Andy Dick.

Im also not of the opinion that animals don't get to go to heaven.

God Bless You.

Since he is not human he would be allowed into heaven !!! The basis for that statement is the book of Revelation were Jesus Christ comes to earth riding on a horse to protect Israel from extinction !!! It is towards the end of the book of Revelation !!! If horses get in why not monkeys !!!
You are monkeying around here !!!

it cannot nor will it ever happen.

humans aren't like animals, we have a capacity to know God through a spirit. the animals do not have this.

if an ape can compose music and then explain to me what it means to him/her personally, then i will yeild to evolution.
