This has been going on for about a week off and on. The fever is about 100 -101 and the achiness is equivilant to influenzia which I had last year. I have no other symptoms. Should I go to a doctor or just sit it out? Does anyone know what could be wrong?

i think you should definetly go to a doctor, you might have gotten food poisoning and you definetly need antibiotics for that. good luck!

with a low grade fever, such as you have, odds are it is just a virus. There are no medications you can take for viruses, especially this late in the game. You just take something like Tylenol, Advil, what ever you prefer to keep the fever down and help aleviate the pain. Drink plenty of fluids, get plenty of rest, wash your hands frequently.
Good Luck!

Sounds like a typical flu. I always start having doubts if flu lingers on beyond a week. Its not uncommon for a flu to cause symptoms on and off for 3-4 weeks.

well i have had the stomach flu and ended up in the ER and the dr said that that and flu-like viruses are going around. just be sure to stay hydrated, continue w. advil and rest alot. Maybe just call the your dr and ask to speak to a nurse, tell her your symptoms, and she call tell you whether or not she thinks you should come in.

Sounds a bit like Lyme Disease. Been in the woods? Get a tick? I'd go to a doctor.

I'd hate to get sick 3 days before christmas.
usually when I have fevers I take a really cold shower.
And then take medicine and sleep. It doesn't last that long, but go to the doctor for more info
