Ask someone in the military. If a dependent child is entitled, I'm sure the money goes directly to the person who has custody of the child. After all, that's what the money is for.

Well first of you should be getting an extra $250 per month for separation pay. With BAH it will be a little hard though unless your child is living in a place that you are signed for as far as a lease goes. Your child should be covered under Tricare though. If you are in the Army you shold have AKO so you can go on the homepage and register there. If you are not in the Army just use a search engine and type in Tricare Online. You really need to go to finance though and figure out the Separation Pay and possibly other things you might be entitled to.

You are untitled BAH pay, and separation pay after you have been deployed over 30 days. Since you are a single military parent you have been counseled on this. Start at your first line supervisor and work your way up the chain of command until you get the proper results. NCO's need to do there JOB. Like the others have said talk to your Chaplin. Best of luck, hope you stay safe and God bless.

You will only get these if you have custody of so called minor children. You should already be getting housing if your child is living with you. I know quite a few grandparents who have moved on base to take care of their grandkids while their single parent is deployed. But you can also have your children or child move to live with someone else and you will be able to get some sort of BAH. Your child will still be able to get medical care while you are gone.

Once you are gone over 30 days you will be able to receive FSH (family separation allwoance) for so called dependent children.

Your child or children will still be able to use the PX or commissary.

But in order to receive any of these benifits you must of had full custody of child before you deployed.

Take care.

who is your Family Care Provider? If you have sole custody of your child you should be getting Family Seperation pay, along with housing allowance (from post you were at), of course Hazard duty pay.
You should have taken care of this BEFORE you deployed, If your child doesnt already have a military ID you need to fill out the proper forms to get your child an Id card, Make sure you Will and other affaris are in order.. again this should have been taken care of before you Left to make sure you child is being take care of while you gone.
