how long to feel normal after losing blood?

I recently had to have two units (I assume that is a pint?) of blood. That was 3 weeks ago and I still get tired very easily after little exertion. How long will it take me to recover from this and feel good again?

Something similar happened to me when I had a blood transfusion, and i also had a low fever. For me it started fading away by the third week. Its possible that the tiredness isn't from the transfusion -maybe you are anemic or something else is going on. You could try taking an iron supplement for a couple days and see if that helps.
