Do you mean the crazy astronaut? She should use that as part of an insanity defense. She wore diapers so she wouldn't have to stop to go to a rest room, yet she stopped to change her diapers! So she might as well just have gone to the restroom! Crazy!

I heard that the diaper thing was made up. If it wasn't, she might have just wanted to stop long enough to get gas. In her mind she might have gone, "OK, I'll be wasting enough time stopping to get gas, so I don't want to waste any more by going to the bathroom."

Too funny, sorry. Was she really in her right mind? I tend to think not. The whole thing was so bizarre and nonsensical and strangely scary. Let's just say, she lost it temporarily and thought she needed the comfort of her space diapers.

Maybe she paid at the pump, and didn't want to be bothered to go into the store to use the bathroom. Or maybe she just wanted to wear a diaper?

She is a brilliant lass and struck a deal with pampers before her infamous road trip, realizing that there are millions of us baby boomers on the highways in our vans and Winnebago's simply fed up on those dirty gas station restrooms.. Why stop when we can simply "Piss in our pants".

The Santa Goose that shall never be cooked? HO HO SQUAWK.
I must defer once again to Joe Walsh and his 1976 album "You can't argue with a sick mind" or in this case figure it out.

Well..... who are you to question her? I mean... she is super smart. She is an astronaut you know...... and, maybe she had no clean underwear.... and, perhaps that didn't figure in on the demented plan... and...
