Finally, FINALLY, someone on this "Religion & Spirituality" page asks an important question.

A question about the Packers!

Yeah, Packer!

This is an age-old question. The answer my religion gives is that Gd doesn't manipulate this sort of thing. He's into bigger things, like the fate of the human race.

Another explanation is that there is no conscious, puppet master diety who sees you when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake. Gd is just a concept of goodness, but one worth following to the extent it leads you to treat others well.

By the way, many religions don't believe in praying for personal benefit. Jews never pray for something like this, winning the lottery, a better job, etc. That's considered trivializing the relationship with Gd. Wiccans (Witches) believe that if you pray for something selfish you lose whatever powers you have.

You're assuming God is interested in the Packers or the Bears.

The same way the Catholic Church blessed troops towards victory on both sides, as did all other "Christian" faiths when the taking of human life is not condoned in the Bible by God, except in appointed warfare by God, and in all those cases, it was not about huge armies locking up in battle, but usually a woefully outnumbered force taking the lead to witness the Strength of God. So in those cases it was not about the strength of men, but God.

Then you have to realize most men do not know what God they are praying/becoming prey to. Since it is Satan who controls the entire inhabited Earth (or currently has lease/dominion upon). It is Satan that is misleading the entire inhabited Earth (Rev. 12:9). So most people do not realize that in praying to a Title "God" or "God Almighty" or just to Jesus Christ it is like doing what the Jews were doing trying to cast out demons in the name of Jesus ... it amounts to a hill of nothing.

So who is God? What is his name? Well if you look at the translation notes (or preface) of almost any Bible you will find note on how the Tetragrammaton is casually rendered LORD, when in Hebrew it is YHWH or English JHVH (Yahweh or Jehovah) both meaning "He causes to become" very important when you consider the scope of the meaning. He did cause everything to come into existance, but greater than that he can and will become whatever he needs to be for his people (faithful followers).

God answers questions in yes, no, and wait.
Therefore anyone and everyone is getting an answer and only they will know which.

A plum could do the same thing. So could a cat, a chair, an ice cube, frosty the snow man, ect.

So there is no god, and everything is god.

Confusing, but true if you think about it.

God is a bears fan, but let's them lose a lot so it doesn't look like He's playing favorites. Besides, he feels sorry for those cheeseheads living in WI.
