Do they put on sales during Easter break? Mid-season? Specific dates or months would be of great help!

Cheers

Debenhams have reduced loads of items and Argos have halved the price of much of its stock, one of which is a portable DVD player reduced to £59.00, cheap or what! Laura Ashley have a great sale on and I have bought the last of my presents from there, saving approx' £40. Look around, they're on everywhere.

Sometimes a store will put an item on sale at cost to draw you in the store and make up the difference on the other items you might buy while you are there? Other stores will advertise a 47" TV for a low price but when you get there you find the low price TV is sold out. They may have had 2 at that price and use it to get you in the store. Then they try to switch you to a higher priced TV. So at time the lower price isn't always a bargain. Here's a crazy question off subject. I'm not from the UK. What is Boxing Day? I've heard of it?

Their are permanent sales on most days in the year. This Christmas has been slow for retailers and they are panicking to get rid of the huge stocks they are holding.Regarding clothing this will depend entirley on the weather ahead. But with Electrical items their will be massive reductions everywhere.Should you want real bargains then call into the regular stores like Asda,Comet,Curries,Argos but leave it until after Dec 27th.
