Eat breakfast every morning! Studies show that fat people have one thing in common: inconsistent eating habits beginning with no breakfast.
When you wake up, eat something before you go to school. Do you like peanut butter and jelly? I do. That's what I eat every morning for breakfast. When I was younger it was waffles or granola---every morning.
I am 44 years old. I weigh the same as I did in high school and wear approximately the same size clothes.
So eat breakfast every morning. Also add some fun walking to your day. Do you have a dog? How about a bicycle? Make short, safe little trips to the store on foot instead of waiting for a ride. And by all means, cut down on TV and high carbohydrate junk food---chips, ice cream, cookies, etc. Try carrots or apple slices instead.
Good Luck.

I'm sure you feel fat, but that doesn't mean you are. Body dysmorphia a huge problem in America, everyone feels fatter than they are. Also weight is judged not by age but by height. And even that is not a good way to judge the appropriate weight for each person. All you can do is eat healthily and exercise. You're much too young to be worrying about weight. Enjoy being a kid.

It really depends on your height, girl. I mean, I was exactly 6 feet tall in eighth grade, and I weighed 110 (but then again, I was extremely skinny).
If you're 5 feet exactly, then you can weigh from about 80-110, without serious obesity/underweight problem.
Add 5-10 pounds for every inch after five feet, and subtract 5-10 pounds for every inch below it, and that's what you should ideally weigh.
However, remember that other factors such as bone size and stuff like that is out of your control- if you have very dense bones, for instance (think Mr. Spock), then of course you're going to be heavier.
Weight, in any account, isn't a good indicator of physical fitness, and neither is the Body Mass Indicator (BMI). Take a fat-percentage test, and if it's above 30, you definately need to fix something. If it's around 25, then it's perfectly fine.

Actually, that is *not* fat for your age.
What weight is right for you is actually more dependent on your height and build, and how muscular you are. If you are around 5 feet or so in height, then 93 is about right. Or maybe even a shade low.
Don't lose weight, Honey!

I would love to have been that size at your age!! Do me a huge favor don't try to think so much about losing weight it's what's on the inside that counts and that's more beneficial than losing 1000 pounds. But if you do get that big we need to talk strategy!! Good luck and lots of love!!

I really think you need to look at what your BMI is. Search for your BMI and then you will see if you need to loose weight or not. I really think you weight normal for your age.
