Without proper closure it's very hard to let things go, especially things of this magnitude. I'm not sure if you're able to get the answers your after without putting yourself through the heartache of associating with the men, but talking it through with a councilor could possible help you find at least a little closure. I'm so sorry for your loss, my only sibling is my brother and I have no idea what you're going through. I'm so sorry. I wish you luck. Merry Christmas.

I wonder if either one of them were to be truthfull and actually tell you why, if it would turn out to be a good enough reason for taking your brothers life.
I suspect the answer to that would be a big fat NO!
So therefore, I highly doubt that ANY reason, truthfull or not could ever possibly put your mind to rest.
I think what might better put your mind to rest would be if you were to meet them, & talk with them so you might better understand the circumstances that brought them to the choices they made, including the choice to brutally kill your brother.
I can't even begin to pretend to completely understand your loss. Especially from the way it happened. But I have heard of people in situations similar to yours who were offered the chance to meet with their loved one's killer(s). My impression was that it was a relatively satisfying experience for both sides of the situation, & it helped the victims family put thier minds to rest.
It's probably something you would find worth exploring.

i do not think you will ever have peace till you know the truth. Hopefully one day you will have the chance to talk to him and get the answers you need.
I am sorry for this loss.

You have every right to ask the questions you seek answers to. Write them a letter and ask that they give you some relief by being honest.

I think you should try, you may find answers that upset you, but you will at least have answers. Talking is a very good step.
