I completely agree. They hate Christians and most atheists will only laugh at you for this question. If only they could understand what a nightmare is coming up for them. they don't understand that it isn't worth the risk...

Well, after we die, that's it. It is quite scary, but there isn't any reason to believe anything else. I think that most Christians and other theists are much happier because they don't have to fear a permanent death, and we atheists do. Because of this, I regret my de-conversion to atheism, even though I know I'm right. But still
"the fact that a believer is happier than an non-believer is no more to the point than the fact that a drunk man is happier than a sober one"
and you say "some people can be so ignorant"
do you have some evidence for the existence of God or of an afterlife? If not, you can't claim to have a monopoly over the truth. Atheists, too, don't have a monopoly over the truth, even though many claim to.
Please, offer some evidence, or else your assertion is meaningless. If you really "are trying to save (us)", please give us reason to believe.

Well, they can believe what they bloody want to believe, if they want to believe that there is no god, that's fine with me, just like if retards want to believe that the world will end in a few seconds, or that some guy is born from a virgin and then suddenly became a god-man, with no proof of his own claim, or that some merchant in the middle of nowhere spoke to god by flying up in a man, horse, bird, etc. its their right. So what if they mock christians, just don't pay attention to them.

Christians are telling us to go to Hell or to go burn, and yet complain that we mock them.
I am thinking about cremation, but that will deny some worms a happy meal. Shouldn't at least some of us be happy?

Don't you get it...we don't want your religion. Please, stop trying to save us. It's not like we haven't given this some thought. We just came to a different conclusion than you did.
Personally, I'm not worried about that "after death" thing. Because... well... because... there is nothing afer death. It's a nice, comforting thought. That's probably why people have faith; but, there is absolutely no evidence.
And you're right. Some people can be so ignorant.

And I take it you've seen that from every atheist who uses this board? Somehow I doubt that.
You are generalizing.. that would be me like saying you are no different from Fred Phelps. However, I know not all christians are like him so I don't say that. Perhaps you should look at individuals.

We all go to the ground when we die. There IS NO after. We KNOW what Christians are trying to "save" us from. What those Christians don't seem to understand is that it is POINTLESS and that we really just don't care. Thus, we mock them for being so ignorant and wishful thinking.

No, I am not ignorant. To be ignorant, I would have to believe everything you tell me without reviewing the evidence that you cannot produce. You trying to "save" me is forcing your religion on me.
We need to think critically.

"some people can be so ignorant."
You've certainly proved that.
I bet you won't be so happy after you die, either. Those worms are equal opportunity nibblers. All chewed up and nowhere to go. Tsk! Tsk!

I haven't seen any atheist complain about christmas.
But i must say that christians do force their religion and beliefts on others. They seem to think that its their job to spread "God's words". I think you should just keep it to yourselves.
