LOL. The idea of heaven is too farfetched already for some catholics. Let me think about this.
My answer is no, close to 100% of catholics will not be surprised at all. The ecumenical decrees of the popes in the past to encompass all religions will explain that.
Catholicism is not as rigid with its membership as some of the newly organized religions. Never ever was.

I am not a Catholic but a Protestant, I expect to meet a lot of Catholics in heaven. If not my father in law will not be there.

I would be surprised if I did not see every good person on the planet regardless of religion. Now that would be a shocker

I think that we are going to be surprised to see many different faiths in heaven..we all have many different ways to worship our God..Just like families have different traditions to celebrate the same holiday, so we believers have different ways of worshipping God..

No.

The Catholic Church teaches:

Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements.

Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church.

All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him.

With love in Christ.

You have to live you're life as christian as possible to get to heaven....Just because we eat of his flesh, and drink of his blood, we get a better chance to inherit eternal life, and we get to participate as a christian in the fullest because of that....People that are catholic, and take communion, and leave the church....I don't know, it's up to god, but to me that'd be a big slap in my face....But yes, I believe that their will be Protestants in heaven, maybe even more than Catholics, lol....

All my best! =)
