all those people that are gay or lesbian? It's against God's word right? There have been studies that prove that MOST homosexuals are NOT homosexuals by choice. It is the way they are born. You can't TEACH homosexuality. Why would God allow homosexuality in other species EXCEPT humans? Scientists say that its a different chemical balance inside the brain, abviously somethign that can not be controlled. Even is a gay man was to never have gay relations and live and die alone, it doesn't change the fact that he was gay. Would God accept him then? Again, I'm not trying to be ignorant. I just want to hear the answers of others. Enlighten me. So I pray that those who answer this question, answer carefully and not judge, or insult me.

John, I wasn't insulting against homosexuals, I was only stating facts about what doctors and scientist says whats different between "straight" and "gay" people.

t's not a sin to have homosexual urges? So why are we told that it is a sin to even think against God's word? A person doesn't even have to act the thought out, but if they thought it, then they sinned. That's what I was told.

Most of you are NOT answering my question. Why would God allow homosexuality in other species, but not in HUMANS?

First let me just say that this is in no way an attack on homosexuals or anyone else. We are each responsible for our own sins, and i do not make it habit to point out anyone elses, whatever they may be. But if you did not want honest answers you would not have posted it right? Yes, it is against Gods word. It says it is a sin for a man to lie with another man. I do not believe they are born with it. infact, i dont much like referring to homosexuality as "it". as if it takes on some kind of life form of its own...lol. I think one should be informed of the truth if they would rather ask then to read it in thier own Bibles. Alot of Christians will tell you that to have the thoughts but not acting on them is ok. Well i disagree there too. I seem to remember reading somewhere that to sin in ones heart is to have sinned already. I could be wrong about that particular scripture, maybe? But "Lust" is also a sin... and thinking about it deffinately falls under that category wouldnt you say? I do not personally believe that this sin is any better or worse then any off the rest of our sins. And good news! God accepts everyone who comes to him, he is a Forgiving God. And Salvation is free. I believe this sin can be forgiven as other sins. And as for the thoughts, if they pray with sincerity, for the Lord to remove those thoughts and temptations. He will. It is not something they will become ammune to though. It is an ongoing battle to resist the weakness of the flesh. Some people must pray a lifetime to resist thier personal weaknesses. whether it be alcohol, drugs, thievery, homosexuality, adultry, or any of the other many sins one may commit on an average day. I hope this is helpful...
Because the beasts of the earth have no souls. Salvation and the Gospel was not written for them, it is for MANKIND. Animals even if they had souls...they are not capable of hearing and understanding the Gospel. therefore it would be cruel to give them souls with no chance of salvation...right?
Besides it was Adam and Eve who sinned and faced condemnation, not the beasts of the earth.

"...For I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me."
The bible makes it clear that the sins of one generation will affect humanity for many generations to come, and that the futher people move from God, the more God allows them to be given over to a "reprobate mind."
Humanity has turned from God. We are more and more wretched with each passing day. I personally believe that the rampant and growing homosexual community is God giving us over to a reprobate mind, and to the devices of evil.

I don't think there is anything wrong with being gay. On another note, I don't think many religions say that being gay is wrong, but that having sexual relations with a person of the same sex is wrong. So according to your religion, I guess a gay man who never had gay relations would go to heaven. I personally believe that God doesn't care whether or not someone is gay, even if they do have sex, but that's just my opinion.

G-d considers it an abomination. it says that clearly in the torah. just like anything in the world, you can choose not to do something that's not allowed. you can conquer your urges. it is not a sin to have homosexual urges, but you can choose not to give in to them. who said homosexuality in animals is not allowed? It says that before the flood even animals became promiscuous
I'm saying the Jewish opinion. I don't know who told you that.

I am gay. And you are right it is not something that I would have chosen.
If I am to be judged by what I am so be it. God is the judge and I have no right to say what is right or wrong. I wish I did have the right, but I do not.

I don't think God ever condemns homosexuality. That is just the belief of some man-made religions.

what you're going to get are a bunch of fundies saying that if the gays don't lead a gay lifestyle, then they could be saved. why should gays not have the pleasure of sex? what kind of god creates someone knowing that they will be damned for acting on their natural desires?
