So tonight I was holding the both of them and they were exploring each others beaks is the only way I can think of to describe it, almost like they were french kissing! The both seemed pretty calm, almost curious about each other. Is it a good idea or not to try and let them be friendly with each other? Oh yeah, and they are both males so no fear of unwanted eggs!

They do both have their own cages as well as our 2 African greys, severe macaw, sulphur crested cockatoo, and male eclectus. We also would never breed them and we supervise them quite closely.

What you witnessed was a ypical parrot greeting. Exploring beaks is the Big Hello.

Cockatoos are strong flock birds, as are most parrots so introducing them like you did is the perfect way do so. Continue to hold both of them as they get to know each other and then, if you have a playstand for them (a good idea) you can put both of them there to play together. Of course you will supervise them but since there is no female for them to fight over, they may become fast friends. I see you did not mention them sharing a cage - Good! They each need their own home. PS - thank you for not breeding.

Congrats that they want to be friends.
Id suggest some supervised playtime for them, honestly I wouldnt ever leave them alone.

We have 2 toos a U2 and M2 they get time out together but really dont like each other much the U2 Snoop is friends with Bubba our OWA.
They all have supervised time out and are fine with it. Rico and Snoop the toos will be friends if they are both with me but the minute they are alone... its a free for all

I would not cage them together and I'd always supervise when they were out loose together. Cockatoos can inflict serious damage on each other, and they have been known to kill their "mates".

They get along or they don't. I had many parrots , either they got along right away or they never did. You just have to try and watch them. Sometimes if they are both the same sex one takes over the female position. they might still get along.
