I have them in my family, and they sound insane to me. We can't discuss religion, because they just try to shout me down. Especially when logic is on my side...

Not as creeped out by hardcore muslims. Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm an atheist and don't follow any false dogma and yes, I do get annoyed when I see all those televangilists speaking in tongues. But I know that here I can walk down the street with a gay pride shirt and all someone might do is give me a dirty look (and that's not often). But if I were in an Islamic country I'd have my head cut off no questions asked.
I might make fun of George Bush and rant and rave on this forum, but think about it guys, as much as we put down America and christians, we still have the right to do it.

"This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God." JOhn 3:19-21

Yes, because they are the ones that would probably be burning me and members of my family if the law permitted.

My mother is so blinded by her faith that she can't even see the falsehoods in not only religion but other parts of her life as well. She's the perfect sheep. Its sad really.

Yes. But, to clarify, not people who are intense in their faith...people who are neurotic in it.
